Unfinished: Show Us What Your Made Ofshowcases an eclectic selection of over 15 local artists’ and their unique process of creation: both through “finished” and “unfinished” works along with sketches, photos, influences, and thoughts that helped inspire the work.(See selected quotes from artists’ statements below)
On Display from October 8 through October 31, The exhibit intends to demystify the process of artmaking by revealing how works-in-progress develop: How do artists do what they do? Please join us for an Opening Reception Event on Friday, October 8, 6-9pm featuring music by Wes Imel, time-lapse videos of artists “at work,” and finished and unfinished pieces and inspirations at New Wave Coffee, 2557 N Milwaukee Avenue in the heart of Logan Square.
